Homicide for the Holidays

Holiday-Shorts-200Boxing Day today and I’m delighted to see that Canadian author Alison Bruce has included the Prologue to SAFE HARBOR in the Holiday Shorts story series she’s been running on her blog for the past week or so. That’s because SAFE HARBOR opens a few days after Christmas when Jude Seaton receives a telephone call that turns her Christmas not-so-merry.  ’Tis the season for holiday homicide!

Check the SAFE HARBOR excerpt here and read the other Holiday Shorts Alison has gathered here.

AND, as my Christmas gift to all of you,  you can download a FREE copy of SAFE HARBOR at Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.ca. The Christmas giveaway continues tomorrow, Dec. 27, and Friday, Dec. 28.

I’m also thrilled that SAFE HARBOR is included as one of Free Kindle Books and Tip’s eight FREE Kindle Book Offers of the day today. That’s a pretty good endorsement! Check it out here.

Speaking about holiday homicide, by Boxing Day I often feel pretty homicidal myself. It’s all that liquid holiday cheer, I guess, that brings old grudges to the surface. Family gatherings can turn less-than-merry.

Most Christmases, I can really relate to The Chieftains’ Saint Stephen’s Day Murders.
