Lacing up my running shoes for a sprint through the next two days! The last flurry of literary activity before summer.
Tonight, June 11, I’l be on a panel and reading at Toronto Public Library’s Bloor/Gladstone Branch with authors Sharon Crawford, Steve Shrott and Steve Burrows, winner of the 2015 Arthur Ellis Award for Best First Crime Novel. The library is at 1101 Bloor St. West in Toronto, across the street from the Dufferin subway station. The event runs from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Tomorrow, June 12, I’ll be part of another authors’ panel at Toronto’s Red Rocket café. My fellow writers are Karen Blake-Hall, Linda Cahill, Sharon Crawford, true crime writer Robert Hoshowsky and Steve Shrott. The Red Rocket is at 1364 Danforth Ave., just east of Greenwood. The show begins at 7:30 p.m.
AND I’m thrilled to announce that my short story, “Plastic Paddies,” will be included in Destination: Mystery!, an anthology of mystery and crime fiction published by California-based Darkhouse Books. The anthology will be released as a trade paperback and an ebook this summer.
