The winter course I’ll be teaching at Toronto’s George Brown College is a go! Novel Writing II: How to Develop Your Novel (LIBA 9340) starts this coming Tuesday, Jan. 12, and runs every Tuesday (three hours each evening, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.) through March 29.
It’s a small, intimate class for writers who already have a work in progress. We’ll be focusing on bringing a manuscript closer to the submission stage, with considerable class time devoted to workshopping scenes and chapters. Two classes will be devoted to submitting work for publication and marketing the published novel.
The college’s Novel Writing I — or an approved equivalent such as a course at another college, or published short stories — is a prerequisite.
There are still a few places left in the class, and you can register here.
Hope to see you on Tuesday!
