Today is publishing day for UNCHARTED WATERS, the fourth installment in my Pat Tierney mystery series. The paperback and the ebook are available on Amazon, and a number of other retailers including Kobo and Barnes & Noble.
After two novels in Ontario cottage country, Pat is back in Toronto and looking to open her own financial planning practice. She’s been hankering to run her own show for a very long time, and she’s finally decided to go for it.
She finds an existing business that she thinks will meet her needs, but she’ll have to take out a big loan against her home to purchase it. It’s risky because she has no idea whether the clients she’ll acquire will stay with her. But she’s willing to take a calculated risk. The only thing she hasn’t factored in, however, is a murder!
Much of the novel is set in Toronto’s vibrant Annex neighbourhood (Bloor Street West, just east of Bathurst) where Pat’s new office suite is located. It’s September–just like now!–and Pat takes frequent breathers to enjoy the fine weather on the fire escape outside her office. Hence Sara Carrick’s cover image of the novel above!
